General Collective Christmas Market Coming Soon!

After going to a few General Collective markets as a customer in the past, Makekit DIY Craft Kits are proud to be part of the General Collective Christmas Market happening on 5th November. And there is a lot of work to do before then and is now takeover my night dreams!

If you've never been to General Collective Market it's well worth the visit. Talented makers, designers, jewellers, sewers, creators, textile printers - whatever your poison, offering their good quality wares. The Makekit stand isn't far from the main entrance, flying a tall banner so you can't miss us.

So, what can you expect to see at the Makekit stand at General Collective?

1. Discounted prices on all Makekit Craft Kits just for the day. See our range for adult and children kits to make something beautiful, as well as useful. 
2. Sign up to our newsletter and receive a 30% off discount code to use online. 
3. A chance to see examples of the awesome crafts, people are making at our craft workshops on Tuesday nights. These $55 craft workshops for adults also include wine and nibbles, making it the complete package for a fun night out.
4. A children's mini-workshop for them to create their own personalised Christmas cards and gift tags. Stamps, buttons, beads, colour paper, leather string and other cool stuff make this a fun project for kids of all ages. 

Among the 250 stalls, you can find delicious food (and somewhere to sit) which is always a major drawcard!  By the way, why is it you always get hungry as soon as you leave the house? It doesn't matter if breakfast was only half an hour ago, happens all the time in our house.

Rose Barbarich first started General Collective in 2014 and is now the largest independent market in Auckland to showcase beautiful local products, attracting buyers and stallholders from all over the country.  

The largest of all the GC markets is at ASB Showgrounds which happens just three times a year so you won't want to miss this chance to purchase something truly unique for yourself or as super-cool Christmas gifts.
